It’s no secret that travel is something that has defined my life. I pretty much grew up traveling around the world with my parents on various business trips, to visit relatives and to explore new countries and alternate ways of life. I’m also no stranger to more permanent ‘adventures’, having lived in three different countries in my childhood, and a number of different towns and cities within each country.
Now, as an adult (can I call myself an adult yet?) I find myself traveling more and more, particularly for work. As a seasoned adventurer, there is nothing I find more valuable than comfort and hygiene, especially in travel friendly sizes which are easy to stash in a pocket or handbag.
My friends at Lush were kind enough to send me some such goodies, which have been invaluable on recent trips (as well as sleepovers). I’ve always been a big fan of their Dream Cream, which is very hydrating but not greasy (very important!) and also their shampoo bars (I have the Ultrashine Bar) which smell amazing and are easy to store.
Also of note are the Chou Chou Toothy Tabs, a clever alternative to keeping teeth clean (am I the only one who’s toothpaste always decides to explode everywhere in my bag?), the Ultrabalm and Honey Trap lip balms (much soothing, so soft) and the Popcorn lip scrub and Sun body scent (which both smell like heaven).
Lush also recently re-launched their brand with new in-store and online experience – full of irresistible products handmade from ethically sourced ingredients. Walking past their store on Rundle Mall can be very dangerous for one’s bank account… do so at your own risk!
